Challenge

Without the monitoring system, Hanergy had little to no visibility of their customers' generation and consumption trends, and therefore could not do any performance monitoring or analysis. The company was fast expanding into new markets, such as Europe and the US. As such, it became increasingly challenging for them to manage their global network of customers without a centralized system that could give them a clear picture of their PV systems installed across the globe.

Hanergy's key requirement was to create a customized monitoring solution as it offered the prospect of greater control over the data.
